We proudly announce that our student, Bakr Amjed, won a bronze medal at the 34th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2023, held in UAE from 3-11 July 2023. 

A group of 4 students from Stirling Schools representing Iraq and Kurdistan participated in this Olympiad and competed against students from around the world. They were tested on their knowledge of a wide range of biological topics and Bakr Amjed won a bronze medal. 

IBO is the world's premier biology competition for secondary school students. In bringing together gifted students, the IBO competition challenges and stimulates these students to expand their talents and to promote their future careers as scientists. 

This year 1,000 students, leaders, observers and guests are participating from 80+ countries.
