Homeroom Teachers

The role of the homeroom teacher in our school is to work with pupils and their parents and to keep an eye on their charges and watch over their academic, behavioral and social growth. The homeroom teacher is the first point of contact for the family regarding both the educational and the extra-curricular activities in school.

Homeroom teachers assist pupils with their educational, career, character building and social needs. In the process, they usually develop a thorough understanding of pupils both as individuals and as class members. They typically work in collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators to provide better learning opportunities.

In Stirling Schools, every homeroom teacher conducts a home visit to get to know the pupil better and to be able to assist them more appropriately in their learning journey.
