Achieving Outstanding Results in The International Biology Olympiad (IBO) - 2024

Great success!

We are thrilled to announce that our students (Shad Nawshirwan) and (Shazad Malik) have achieved outstanding results. Shad Nawshirwan secured (first place), while Shazad Malik earned (fourth place) at the national level in (Iraq). Both students have qualified for the final stage of the International Biology Olympiad (IBO), which will take place in (Kazakhstan)'s capital, (Astana).

 

After undergoing rigorous evaluations throughout the academic year (2023-2024), Shad Nawshirwan and Shazad Malik demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance. Their journey began with the semi-finals in (Erbil), where they excelled and advanced to the prestigious final stage of the Olympiad.

 

It's noteworthy that only four students representing (Iraq) and (Kurdistan) participate in this global competition annually. We are proud to announce that two of these exceptional students are from our college.

 

The International Biology Olympiad (IBO) stands as a pinnacle of achievement in the field of undergraduate biology, gathering talented individuals under the age of 20 from around the world. Since its inception 1990 in (Czechoslovakia), the IBO has grown to include over 75 countries from 5 continents.
