Stirling Schools, in coordination with Global Hippo Association, has organized the 10th International Olympiad in English Language with support of Pearson and Gatehouse Awards.  

HIPPO “English without borders” Olympiad is an International Competition which promotes English language, challenges students around the globe to compete in English language knowledge, and improves the cooperation between teachers. The competition encourages the development of a shared sense of identity and integration, and serves as a role model for young people living together as one community. 

Main goal is to create and nourish friendly relations, international understanding and a spirit of sporting competitiveness between young people interested in the English language from all around the world. 

From different parts of Iraq, we have had a total of 584 students participating in the test and we had semi-finalists from different categories.

What is more, having participated in the semi- final round, four of forty nine Stirling Schools students have successfully passed to the final round which will be held on September 17th 2021.
