International Girl Child Day
Girls Can Do Best!
On this special day for Girls worldwide, we would like to congratulate our successful girls who have always made us proud with their outstanding achievements.
Within Stirling Schools Action Plan aligning with the UNESCO Education 2030 Framework, our schools strive to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning
opportunities for all.
UNESCO 4.1 By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes.
SS: A.1 We will continue to provide quality primary and secondary education with our international partners offering equal provision for boys and girls. Moreover, we will continue to provide scholarships through our Stirling Schools Admission Test (SSAT) and will allocate a higher percentage to the girls (positive discrimination).
UNESCO 4.5 By 2030, eliminate gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities,
indigenous peoples and children in vulnerable situations.
SS: A.5 The Stirling Schools group, through its values curriculum, develops an awareness of gender equality among its thousands of students.
